Photograph provided by Ray Lambert2 Coy Norfolk ACF Reunion Organised by Paul Allen, Ray Lambert and Ian (Yogi) Burnett, a Spring reunion was held in Great Yarmouth for past members of No 2 Coy, NACF. It was attended by 30 people who were No 2 Coy instructors at Long Stratton, Harleston, Loddon, Acle, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth. The Coy area has now been redefined and comes under Cadet Norfolk Artillery Bty, which includes more detachments in the Norwich Area, but the HQ remains at Southtown. Between 1975 and 1990 the coy was commanded by Maj Trevor Page. Trevor had been a cadet at Loddon detachment before National Service with RAMC. He was awarded the General Service Medal for service in Cyprus during the 1950s. On leaving the army he rejoined the cadet force at Loddon taking charge of the detachment. After 12 years of service he was awarded the Cadet Force Medal and remained as OC until his sudden death in Sep 1990.  Mrs Anne Page was at the reunion and still lives in the area. Many old friendships were renewed and existing ones strengthened. By popular demand all present requested that it be repeated, and kept going.

Editorial Rule
To qualify for inclusion in the B&C there is only one rule - something described must have been said to have happened.
The authority is the Editor, British Army Review No 114 Dec 96, `If the facts don`t fit the legend, print the legend’.

However, the rules of good taste, respect and confidentiality are always applied.

Rule Britannia!
